Text Box:     In the Community Recently, Senator Hooper had a chance to visit North Harford High School students as they met and prayed "Around the Pole." At a recent fundraiser for Darlington Fire Company, the senator had the chance to speak to several Harford County students.  These two young ladies, Megan Chenworth and Samantha Nelson, invited Bob to their eco fest in November at North Harford High School. Also here with Senator Hooper are Morgan Brown from North Harford Middle and Jennifer Breece from North Harford High School. Mike Nelson from Harford Tech enjoyed the Darlington Fundraiser as well.   Senator Hooper is proud to be involved with our Scouts. He takes part in about 40 Eagle Scout Award celebrations each year.       Kent Johnson from Troop #922 "Dear Senator Hooper,  Hello from Japan!  It was such a pleasure and an honor to meet you again and have you attend Kent's Eagle Scout Court of Honor on 24 June.  Given the incredible rainstorm we encountered that evening, it was amazing that you were able to make it.  We were all so impressed and grateful..." The FARM FAIR!     Senator Hooper looks forward to the Farm Fair every year.  Agriculture in our county is vital and one way he supports our agriculture is by assisting our farmers of the future!  Each year, the 4H participants enter projects from cakes to cattle.  Many of the projects are auctioned off and the money is used for their education funds.      The senator spends the better part of every fair day visiting the barns and the people who work so hard to make every aspect of the farm fair a success.  From the smallest entrants, to the most mature, the efforts of all are obvious and easy to appreciate.  This year Senator Hooper was able to visit with Governor Ehrlich as he enjoyed our fair, as well.  More photos can be found on our Photo Gallery page!     Getting ready for auction!                       Kids of every age enjoy the Farm Fair!       See more photos on our Photo Gallery page!
